Yestermorrow Sustainable Building School

Yestermorrow Sustainable Building School is located in Warren, Vermont and offers various hands-on courses in sustainable design, construction, woodworking, furniture making, green building, and more. It has been operating as a non-profit organization since 1980.

They offer 1-day to 10-week intense courses taught by top architects, builders, and craftsmen. They also have certificate programs for woodworking, sustainable building and design, and natural building. This is a place I would absolutely LOVE to spend some time in. Attending Yestermorrow is about learning and expanding your knowledge, skills, and experience. There are one-day workshops and three-month certificate programs with a focus on hands-on experience. The campus offers learning experiences, projects, usage of mechanical systems, and examples of previous work. I hope to visit this place soon!

    In fact, we are offering a new course this fall entitled “Less is More: Designing The Smaller Home” which might be of interest to readers of the Tiny House Talk blog. It is a 5 day course specifically for folks interested in going through the hands-on process of designing their own tiny home. October 31-November 5, 2010. Tuition $750.
