Small Space Furniture #13–Hideaway Bed

This hideaway bed is the ultimate in small space furniture. When being used for sleeping it floats in the middle of the room.

During the day it hides away easily within the roof and actually makes the ceiling look beautiful with paneling and lighting. This one lifts and hides away electronically.

No need to make the bed.  I hope it has a weight sensor on it or something to prevent a prankster in the house from pressing the hideaway button while someone’s sleeping.

This is a great feature for a studios and small apartments. I’m not sure it would work for most tiny houses because of the roof styles–a Murphy bed is probably a better option for these.
