I would be willing to bet that the Grandpa’s Cabin was designed by a man because of the impractical way the closet was handled. If the entrance to the closet and washer/dryer area was from the bathroom, the closet could stretch along the whole wall facing the living room, giving just as much hanging space, and whoever was bathing could leave their dirty clothes in the washer, go bath, and then enter the closet again to dress without having to go through the living room space where people are sitting. It would also give the living room another wall for furniture like bookcases or TV.

k… i think i found you on relaxshacksDOTcom on youtube, i like the ideas for design on the tiny houses, and for improvements…i think i would like to see an entire tiny house built by scrap wood like pallets and wood that can be easily found. maybe even a tiny cabin in the woods from reclaimed wood..thanks and keep up the good vids. If i get this book i plan on building each project on my family land for friends and relatives to stay in when camping, and vlog each one if you would like to post them on your site
